How do I stop excel from auto formula, ie 48E69 makes 48.0e+70?
I am making a list of general numbers and excel keeps making a formula out of
anything with an E in it, example 48E69 turns into 48.0E+70. I can't figure out how to stop this from happening and I have about 100 parts with an E in them. Help someone! Thanks, |

Format the cells as text or put a single quote (') in front of the "number"
before you enter it. Regards Trevor "metaylor" wrote in message ...
