col of minus numbers changed to plus numbers
 

have long column of numbers showing as minus that was imported to worksheet.
need to convert them to plus.

Try this:

In an empty cell put -1

From the Excel main menu:
<edit<copy

Select the range of negative numbers

<edit<paste special
Check: Multiply
Check: Values
Click the [OK] button

Place a -1 in any unused cell. Copy that Cell. Highlight the cells you want
to flip the sign on. Now right click and select PasteSpecial - multiply...
