%1 appears in "Application used to perform action" when trying to edit a file type
i accidentally deleted the "/e" (no quotes) that comes after the path
and when i restored this a "%1" (no quotes) appears and now whenever i try to open an excel file, excel tries to open the file wherever it sees a space in the path name instead of just the file. is there anyway to get rid of this %1 without reinstalling excel? |

Is this in the Folder Options dialog? If so, there is a registry edit that corrects that problem. I found it in the MSKB a few weeks ago when I had the same problem, but I can't locate it now. :-( --ron |
