Subtotals in Excel do not renewing automatically

Subtotals in my spreadsheets suddenly stopped working yesterday after several
years of being fine. Why would this happen? If I reinput the subtotals,
they refresh for that instant only. What must I do to fix the problem?

Go to Tools Options Calculation and select "Automatic

Let me know if this does not solve your problem.
