Unique Records Only is not working....
I have a spreadsheet that I have many exported contacts for Outlook. I am
trying to clean up my Contacts. I have over 128K contacts in many folds, most of these are dulicates. I figured that this would be fairly easy to do in Excel. When I try to filter and select Unique Records only, it does not filter anything out. I even have some records I purposely copied and have included blank records, but even these are showing. I have sorted the records ( a conconation of all of the important fields, removing spaces) as my "key" field Any ideas? TIA Bruce |

Are you just filtering on that column?
If you are, then do a small experiment. Compare two cells that show up as different--but you think are different--with a formula like: =a2=a3 Do you get True or False back?
