ListIf ???
 

Hi,

Is there a way of listing those items that have a certain criteria - in
other words a sort of "ListIf" type command? Just as SumIf would sum the
values of items that have a certain criteria?

It relates to data on another spreadsheet.

I want to be able to type in a product, and for all the components that go
to make up that product then to be listed (one per row) underneath. The other
spreadsheet contains a list of every component and what product it relates to.

Sounds like the VLOOKUP feature would do you nicely........but in order for
someone to write you a formula we would need more info, like John suggested.
Which cell do you type in, which cells do you want the results to appear in,
and what is the name of the second Sheet and what is the range of cells that
contain the data..........
