closed...editlinksupdate is possile and integral...

VLOOKUP does not work when it references data in a closed workbook.

Hi,

I have a vlookup link to an external spreadsheet. This works fine whilst the
external spreadsheet is open, but if it is closed and I update links in the
original spreadsheet, the formula result changes to #value! Why is this and
can I stop it?

Thanks,

Will
