How do I alaphabetize cells?
I'm trying to set up a simple spred sheet where column A will automatically
alaphabetize the cells in that column by the first letter in the cell. I also want each of the cells in that row to move with the cell in column A. Anyone know how to do this? |
This is called sorting. See the command Data|Sort

Just make sure when you Sort, that you either have NOTHING at all selected in
that worksheet or you select the whole spreadsheet, all the rows. In other words, make sure you don't accidentally have JUST a column (eg, A) selected because when you Sort it will just sort that column and all the data in the other columns will stay where it is.
