Pivot table error
I have a user who is trying to run a pivot table but is getting the following error: there are too many open records to complete the process. She mentioned that she has been able to handle a larger number of records in the past? -- wiseman378 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wiseman378's Profile: http://www.officehelp.in/member.php?userid=5158 View this thread: http://www.officehelp.in/showthread.php?t=1264053 Posted from - http://www.officehelp.in |
Pivot table error
I see no one address this issue.
It is not the number of rows of data that is the limiting factor it is the number of unique entries. And that limit is version dependent. In other words if there are 2,000,000 rows but they will be grouped into 2 groups, no problem. But there is a limit to the number of groups depending on version. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "wiseman378" wrote: I have a user who is trying to run a pivot table but is getting the following error: there are too many open records to complete the process.
