how to apply the same header or footer to all sheets in workbook

To apply headers and/or footers in all worksheets at the same time and avoid
retyping in all sheets:
Select all the worksheets in the workbook and then add your header or footer.

how to apply the same header or footer to all sheets in workbook

This reply is mainly to show that the question is "answered" , there
aren't really many "How To's" posted so the bean counters keeping
track of unanswered question . However, I hate to reply only to the
sake of replying so will add this.

The process is called Grouping and you can find it in HELP.
A word of WARNING, after doijg what you want to do with Grouped
sheets be sure to ungroup the sheets right-click on sheet tab and
ungroup. Failure to ungroup sheets will severly damage workbook
as any change made to any sheet in the group will also be made to
all other sheets in the grouping.

Best help item appears to be "Select Sheets"
