When I open a file in excel, I cannot open any of the sheets
 

When I open a file in excel everything works just fine until I try to open
one of the sheets in the file. The cursor shows a shhet of paper and
everything locks up. I cannot do anything else but manually close the file.
Anyone have any ideas on what I did.
