Hyperlink mailto - ref cell for mail subject
.....anyone cracked this simple one?
I have an Excel spreadsheet which contains a mailto hyperlink in one column, & in two other columns on the same row I have text that I want to use to form the mail subject - ie when the hyperlink mailto edit box is displayed, in the 'subject' text box i really want to input a reference to an Excel cell. Is there any easy way this can be done? I appreciate that I can probably work around it using VB, but I would have thought a simpler solution may exist. |

Experimenting with the insert hyperlink control, I got this:
?subject=Th is is the subject Given that the subject is not enclosed in quotes, it does not appear likely that you would be able to substitute a cell address (I could not think of a way to do it at least.) -- Kevin Vaughn "LDUNN1" wrote: ....anyone cracked this simple one?
