Maybe the mouse buttons are stuck.
Try gently banging on the mouse buttons (including the wheel mouse button). And I'd do the same with the ctlr and shift keys on the keyboard. If that fails, can you swap mouses, er, mice? teach3's wrote: the first cell I click on becomes an anchor and I can not release it. How do I get this to let go? F8 doesn't work. -- Dave Peterson |

I swapped "mice" to an old one and it does not have the issue, it is not a
stuck key problem and the old mouse is hard to use. The mouse I had the problem with has been in use for over a year. I'm going to try to reload the drivers. Somewhere a setting was tripped and I can't find it to untrip it. "Dave Peterson" wrote: Maybe the mouse buttons are stuck. Try gently banging on the mouse buttons (including the wheel mouse button).
