Counting Worksheets, Second Verse
I have a user who wants to count worksheets WITHOUT using a macro/custom
function. Me, I'm a fan of Application.Worksheets.Count, but he is adamant he does not want to go that route. Closest I can think of is =INFO("numfile") which counts active worksheets. Down side of this function is it also counts HIDDEN files such as PERSONAL.XLS and any ADD-INS (like FUNCRES.XLA) Anybody think of a formula that would allow INFO("numfile") to ignore PERSONAL.xls or any XLA files???? Or some other solutions BESIDES the VBA answer? I recognize sometimes NO is the right answer. But, for anyone who can think up a solution -- well, I'll be muy impressed! Thanx. Janie |
