While it is true that you can't change the width of any cells without
changing the width of the entire column, you can achieve the effect you are looking for by merging two or more cells. By inserting additional columns and merging cells, you can pretty much control the width of any cell. Row heights and column widths are properties of the row and column and cannot be changed throughout. My fingers are shaking and my heart is racing as I type the following......... You could use the Merge Cells option and merge several cells together horizontally or vertically. Merged cells can cause no end of problems with copying, pasting, filtering, sorting and a few others I can't think of right now. They do have their purpose, I guess<g Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 13 Oct 2006 00:40:02 -0700, andrew wrote: Halo i would like to change the width but for only 3 specific cells and not to the entire column , how i can do it?
