splitting number strings in excel

I have a 15 number string where each digit or paor of digitshas a meaning - i
would like to split them out into difffernt cells so that I can sort them
into a more easily used fashion.

Hi!

Use Text to Columns.

How do you want to split the number? One digit per cell?
However you want to do it, make sure you have enough empty
columns to the right to accept the digits. Any data in
columns to the right will be overwritten.

Select the range of cells to split.
Goto DataText to Columns
Select Fixed width then Next
In the Data preview box you'll see your numbers.
Using your mouse single click where you want to insert a
split. To remove a split, double click.
Once you have all your splits selected click Finish.
