formula for copying values from one workbook to another
Hi
I am using Excel Verision 2003. I need to copy a value from one worksheet in one saved file to another cell in a different saved worksheet. I have only just recently started using formulas so not that good at the moment. Thanks |

I have only just recently started using formulas so not that good at the moment. Thanks Afternoon Claire you can do this in 2 ways 1) go into the 1st folder onto the Cell you have your formula in right click on your mouse button press copy then go into your other folder into the cell you want to put the fomula in right click your mouse again press paste Hey presto!! 2) go into the folder without the formula in onto the cell where you want the formula to go press the = sign on your formula bar click the folder with the formula in it onto the cell with the formula press return on your keyboard. both of these two cells in both folders will always be exactly the same Hope this helps Claire |
