Help with formula/function
Hi:
I hope I'm posting this in the proper group. I have a workbook that contains 40+ worksheets for invdividual accounts. I need to extract daily data (three separate values, to be precise) from a summary sheet that will be pasted into the first tab/worksheet of the workbook on a daily basis that will then hopefully be able to replicate the data onto each individual worksheet depending on what day of the month it is. What I'm needing is a formula that will enable me to accomplish this. So basically I have something like: Summary Data: 09/27/06 Acct 1: 28, 34, 12 Acct 2: 33, 4, 02 Acct 3: 28, 9, 66, 31 Etc., etc. Each worksheet is labeled with the account name (ie., Acct 1, Acct 2, etc.). On the individual worksheet, each row looks something like this and is dependent on the day of the month: (Acct 1): 27 (the day of the month) - 28, 34, 12 (these are the three data cells that would be referenced to on the first worksheet that is pasted into the workbook every day). What I need is a formula/function that would extract the three figures per day/per account and then pull them onto the individual worksheet and place them in the proper row that corresponds to the day of the month. That's the problem I'm having - I can't seem to figure out how to get the data to reference the particular day of the month, yet retain ALL of the other days' data as well. I'm not sure if there is a formula/function that could accomplish this, or am I possibly needing a macro that would tell each worksheet to go to the next row each time it is opened or something. Kind of lost on this one, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, StormieCO |
