Flashing cell for conditional formatting as an option
 
This would be very nice for those involved in the financia lindustry who use
a DDE to monitor stock and futures pricing.

Under certain conditions the cell would flash

Just because something is annoying doesn't mean it would be nice.
Most professionals I'm sure would disagree with you.

When you see something flashing in Excel it usually represents
bad coding (inefficient coding).
