Inserted Comments in published workbooks

How do I, or can I, preserve the corner comment indicators in a published
workbook? I had hoped that those viewing the workbook on the net would be
able to move their cursor over the indicator to get additional cell comments
just like it works when within the XL application. Instead, the comment
indicators become bracketed # hyperlinks like this [1] placed at the end of
the cell info that will then open a new web page with all the comments from
every cell listed in a very mish-mashed user unfriendly list of info.

So is their a way to change this? At least make it a more user friendly
vie, if not actually able to preserve the normal indicators and their
function? I've searched all the other palces and have not been able to find
anything pertaining to this specific issue. I'm using na MS Calendar
template in XL 2002 (XP) if that helps. I would like users to just be able to
get additional info per an individual date when needed without having to
leave the current page or muddle through the entire comment list. I hope I
get some feedback soon. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
