when i sort, how can i get the formatting to sort along with text
What type of formatting are you talking about?

I guess it would be the cell formatting as opposed to the text formatting;
i.e. shading and borders. I see that the text formatting does hold when sorting. There are several field types i am sorting; date and time fields and regular text fields. thank you.
