^ is the caret or the exponentiation symbol used for raising a value to
the power of
2^2 would be 2*2 =4
2^3 would be 2*2*2 =8

Depends on the formula. It can also stand for the or operator in an array
formula. ABR... Post your formula and we can decipher it for you if you still
