copy and paste
I have the following part number "235594, 235595, 234980, 235601, 234972" in
cell B1. How can I copy and paste so that each of the part number appear individually separate cell? 235594 in B2, 235595 in B3 and so on? |
Point to cell B1. Select Data - Text to columns - Delimited - Next -
check the box entitled comma - select Finish. Your numbers should now be in the range B1:F1. -Scott "bayanbaru" wrote: I have the following part number "235594, 235595, 234980, 235601, 234972" in cell B1. One method.......
Make sure you have enough empty columns(4 in your example) to the right. With B1 selected go to DataText to columnsDelimited by space and Finish. Select C1:F1 and Copy. Select B2 and EditPaste SpecialTransposeOKEsc. Whoops!
Make that "space and comma delimited" to get rid of the commas and the spaces both. Gord On Mon, 31 Jan 2005 16:58:54 -0800, Gord Dibben <gorddibbATshawDOTca wrote: One method.......
