conditional formatting for row given conditino in cell
I have a column of numbers which occasioncally gets incremented by
one(111,22222,333,4444,etc). I'd like to refer to this column and have formatting be applied to a range to the right of that column in the row where it occurs (say, for the four columns to the right). Is there a way to do this without vba? tia, Dave |
What are the criteria for formatting the other cell?

Sorry. when the column goes up by one, I'd like that row to be underlined.
The numbers column more accurately written goes like this...1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,5,6,6,6,6,e tc.) tia, Dave "Bob Phillips" wrote: What are the criteria for formatting the other cell? -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "Dave Breitenbach" wrote in message ... Then I think you need VBA, otherwise you cannot tell that the cell has been
changed. -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "Dave Breitenbach" wrote in message ... Sorry. when the column goes up by one, I'd like that row to be underlined.
