conditional formattings

How do I use conditional formatting. When I put data in cell C18 I want it
to change the colour of text in cell K18, is this possible?

I would really appreciate some help with this matter.

Thanks

Select cell K18 and then choose Conditional Formatting from the
Format menu. In that dialog, change "Cell Value Is" to "Formula
Is" and enter =LEN($C$18)0 as the formula and choose the format
you want.
