what causes this error" too many different cell formats"
 

I'm working on a Multiple sheets workbook and I keep getting this error "Too
many different cell formats" every time I try to merge format cells or insert
a worksheet from another workbook. After few tries my workbook becomes
corrupt and I loose all the formatting. Any ideas
