Hi Tiffany
Assuming row 1 has your headings Rank Brand Jun 06 ('000) with the data beginning on row 2, then first change column A. Instead of entering 1,2 3 etc., enter =ROW()-1 and copy down Now, mark your whole block of data and choose DataSortselect the option My data range Has Header rowsSort byJun 06Descending -- Regards Roger Govier "Tiffany" wrote in message ... Hi Tiffany
Since you say the headers are on 2 rows, I guess the ('000) is on row 29. If this is the case, then in cell A30 enter the formula as =ROW()-29 and copy down. Mark Row 30 onward as your block of data to sort (omit rows 28 and 29) and choose DataSortNo headerColumn CAscending -- Regards Roger Govier "Tiffany" wrote in message ...
