Looking for gurus that knows show and hide functions on a pivot table?
Good Afternoon,
I recently made a pivot table that list names on the left hand side of the worksheet. Within those names to the right is the date, file # and to the right of that I have it tally the files to each of the three locations. Before Hide it was: Location Customer: Date shipped File # A B C XYZ Corp 09/02/06 5 1 08/31/06 3 1 ABC Corp 09/02/06 2 1 09/01/06 4 1 After the hide all what appears is Customer and Location information. The Date shipped and File # info is hidden. Now my question is how can I just show the recent date shipped only and hide the rest. I have been scratching my head on this It is already formated that shows the most recent activity, I just can't figure out how to show that first line. I tried grouping them but when you refresh the pivot table with new data, everything shifts around. Chris |
