I assume you mean What is e?

e is the usual symbol standing for natural logarithms which are logs to the
base 2.71828182459......... as opposed to logs to base 10

Are you referring to "E" in a number, as in 1.00E+09? That is a
convention for writing numbers in "scientific notation". The "E" means
"times ten to the power of". Thus, 1E+09 is 1 times 10 to the power 9,
i.e. 1,000,000,000. In a chart, you can usually change the number
format.
