Prevent Row Height from increasing when Pasting lenghthy text into Cell.
Hello,
In Excel 2000, whenever I paste a large paragraph into a single cell, the cell/row height increases. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, keeping it at the default 12.75? Thank you in advance. Hal. |

IF you FIRST change the row height to 13 or 12.5 (a wee bit off 12.75), OR
FIRST use Format/Row/Height (and leave it as 12.75), it won't happen. However, you may see very little of the text -- it's still marked as word wrap. The smallest # of steps to rectify the original problem is to do the paste, then format the cell to NOT be word wrap. "Hal" wrote in message ... I have a lot of pasting to do (approx. 3,000 times). They are product
descriptions. I am looking for the most effective way. "Bob Umlas" wrote in message ...
