Why can i not see my drop down menu ie file, edit etc
 

I am using Excell spreadsheets and when I tried to open it from my documents
it went to a page which was not encoded. So I went to new documents and
opened it but now it wont let me pull down the menus ie file, edit, tools etc
it looks like a shadow has dropped down but nothing you can really see?

Hi Becki,

I don't know if I well understand what you problem is...

Anyway you could try this:

menu Tools, Options, select the General tab, uncheck "Ignore other
applications" (or something like this...).

(I'm not sure of names of menus, options and commands, because
translating from the Italian version of Excel...)
