How do I display duplicate records in Excel without deleting?
I don't want to use the filter that will automaticall delete the records. I
want to view the records first. |

Perhpas DataSort on a copy of your worksheet would work for you.
Duplicates should be adjacent after a sort. BTW.................. Advanced filtering does not "automatically delete" records. It just selects the unique records and leaves you to decide what to do with them. For more on selecting/highlighting/tagging duplicates see Chip Pearson's site http://www.cpearson.com/excel/duplic...tingDuplicates Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 23 Aug 2006 10:45:01 -0700, jkc1 wrote: I don't want to use the filter that will automaticall delete the records.
