sheet 1: Sheet1. Cellcontent A2=1

Sorry, the Excel is XP version with SP3.
Acctually this doesnt work: Sheet2: E180 contains a text or a number. Writing =Sheet2!E180 in a cell in sheet1 doesnt work. The referencetext are just shown in cell, not the number/text from sheet2. regards jan skrev: sheet 1: Sheet1. Jan, is the cell in sheet to formatted as text? this will cause your

Sounds like the cell the formula is in is formatted as Text. Try changing
