Auto size a pivot table to a page size

Driven mad by having to resize pivot tables constantly, printing and
reprinting to ensure they fit to a page and are readable. There needs to be
some way of setting the actual print size so that you can read its printed
format in the size that it will be, with a view on how much outside of the
print area you are in relation to the actual size of a page.

Auto size a pivot table to a page size

does the following help?

print preview.
click setup
choose landscape or portrait
click on "fit to 1 page wide by <blank pages tall"

unless the number of displayed columns is changing all the time it
should look much the same each time you print it, just the number of
pages changes.

..and in the pivot table options untick autoformat if you want.

regards
