link a spreadsheet to another spreadsheet
 

I have a worksheet that I link to a PLC program data file which is updated
continuously.The infomation runs for 24 hrs in 8 hour blocks. I take the
information and put it in a workbook in 24 different rows. The problem I have
is that every eight hour the the last 24 hr block zero's out and starts over.
I am trying to keep the information by date and time, but still updating
automatically. any ideas. I not sure that I am explanding this clearly.
