how do I protect a formula in an excel speadsheet
I am working on a excel speadsheet that figures hours between maintanence
when maintanence is completed I need to reset the time in hours but when I do that it replaces the formula in the cell and will no longer function automaticlly unless I replace the formula again. How can I set it to be able to zero the time and not loose the formula in that cell? |
Greg
To keep that formula in the cell you will have to change the dependent cells that the formula uses. If you simple replace the formula, you will have the same number you had before.
