Thank you, this is helpful. One last question... Where is Dialer.exe? I
searched my hard disks, but can't find it. Do I need to purchase it or is it freeware someplace? Sorry, that's two questions. TimeKeeper,
What's the Dialer program? Dialer.exe is a program that ships as part of Windows. It allows a user to dial an outgoing voice call via his computer, if the modem supports both voice and data. The user enters a number to dial, or selects a number from the speed-dialer list, and then picks up on a handset when the call is answered. I am on a computer running windows 98 at this time, it is in C:\windows, have not used it in XP so I don't know if it is in it or not, you could most likely do a search on Google for it and find a copy, if not I can send you a copy from this computer. It's a small file only abut 68kb -- Paul B Always backup your data before trying something new Please post any response to the newsgroups so others can benefit from it Feedback on answers is always appreciated! Yes, that would be great if you would send me a copy of dialer.exe and any
type of dialer.doc file you might also have available. I am running XP and dialer.exe did not come with it. Thank you very much! "Paul B" wrote: TimeKeeper, What's the Dialer program?
