BIG FILE SIZE??
I have a sheet that was sent to me and ends up being 33 meg. It doesn't have
very many formulas so I can't figure why it's so large. This guy did copy info from another worksheet and paste in, but can't see any embedded images or other things that might make so large. How do I search for the culprit? Thanks much. |
BIG FILE SIZE??
Hello! These may be too simple, but try...
Go into each tab and hit CTRL+END. This will show you where the spreadsheet ends (there may be blank rows/cells but Excel thinks there is something in them). To get rid of the blank cells, figure out which is the "real" last row/column of data. Highlight and Delete all empty rows/columns then hit CTRL+HOME and save the file right away. This should re-train Excel to see the real end of the data. Also, try going to format-sheet-unhide to see if there are any hidden tabs that you can unhide and delete. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
