Fomula Problem

Hi,

I have a problem for someone to solve :-)

I am trying to write a formula for ecxel to pull data from a range of
cells and place them all in one cell..

See Below

A B C D E F G
1
2 1 2 3 4 5 6
3 123456
4
5 A B C D E F
6 ABCDEF
7

I want the contents of the 6 cells to be in one cell as if copied
pasted next to each other?

Has anyone got any idea on this?

Hi whitieklf

If you only want the string created then:

=A1&B1&C1&D1&E1&F1

will do the trick.

But to convert a series of numbers to a number then:

=IF(ISNUMBER(A1&B1&C1&D1&E1&F1)*1,A1&B1&C1&D1&E1&F 1*1,A1&B1&C1&D1&E1&F1)

Regards

Steve

=B1&C1&D1&E1&F1&G1

or

=CONCATENATE(B1,C1,D1,E1,F1,G1)

The latter is limited to 30 cells; the first is not so limited.
