I'm trying to enter a formula that will check is see if a "D" is blue or
black, and add up them. I am doing a nursing schedule, and some are blue and some are black D's. I need to add up each separately. So far I've only been able to get the total of them, and not the separate counts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

How do I use these? I installed the VBA add-in, but it does not work.

I'm not sure what add-in you're referring to. I was pointing you to one
of Chip's User Defined Functions (UDFs). If you're not familiar with macros, see David McRitchie's "Getting Started with Macros and User Defined Functions": http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm In article , "Geni Slaughter" wrote: How do I use these?
