Linked Checkboxes
I currently have several checkboxes that are linked to the cell below them. The cell references an HLOOKUP formula that = "Yes". My problem is that when I print the worksheet, the TRUE and FALSE values for the cells that the checkboxes are linked to print. I've changed the font to white, but they still print. Thanks in advance. -ep -- edwardpestian ------------------------------------------------------------------------ edwardpestian's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33809 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566247 |

Why not just set a print area, and put them outside that print area?

I had thought of doing that; however, I wanted to find out if there was another way that I was overlooking. -ep -- edwardpestian ------------------------------------------------------------------------ edwardpestian's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33809 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566247 |

I like to give the cell a custom format of:
;;; (3 semi colons) ===== And are you printing in B&W? edwardpestian wrote: I currently have several checkboxes that are linked to the cell below them. Try printing in color.
File|page setup|sheet tab|uncheck black and white. (or try that ;;; custom number format) edwardpestian wrote: Yes, I am printing in B&W. -ep -- edwardpestian ------------------------------------------------------------------------ edwardpestian's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33809 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566247 -- Dave Peterson |

I really need print in black and white as I'm printing to a B&W laser printer and I don't want any of the colored cells to come out grayscale. Using you custom format (;;;) worked. Thanks.. -ep -- edwardpestian ------------------------------------------------------------------------ edwardpestian's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33809 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566247 |
