saving a shared workbook is too slow on other 2 computers

We have 3 computers connected through a local area network. One computer has
the data and the other 2 access it wirelessly. When you press save on the
other 2 computers that don't actually have the data, the save time is
approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute - unacceptable. Any suggestions?
