Is it possible to turn off your find and replace function in Excel?

My Find and Replace function in Excel is not working?
 

What does not working mean? Can you open the find/replace box? Is is not
finding what you expect it to? Do the shortcut keys no longer work?

i AM having the same problem...for example ..I set up a spreadsheet
with two cells one containing the word TWO and another 2

I then use Find to find either one but continually get the result that
Excel cannot find either of them...Ive tried wildcards to find TWO but
no luck.
