Copying a linked worksheet
Hello. I am trying to copy a worksheet that was linked to another file which
is on a server with limited access. I need to copy this single worksheet, not entire workbook, to another users computer who doesn't have access to the source files. When I open the document I get a lot of !REF response which is expected cause it cannot read. Is there a way to copy the non-updated values to another worksheet? Thanks in advance. |

Copying a linked worksheet
Copy the worksheet by right-click on tab and "move or copy" to a new workbook.
Select all cells and copy then paste specialvalues. Save as and send to user. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 19 Jul 2006 07:34:03 -0700, SelimTheDream wrote: Hello. I tried everything but didn't work. Besides when I say paste specialvalues
it becomes all mixed up. Thanks for the info though. "Gord Dibben": Copy the worksheet by right-click on tab and "move or copy" to a new workbook. Select all cells and copy then paste specialvalues.
