Does anyone know if it's possible to sell and subsequently license an Excel Add-In created with VBA on AppSource?

Or is AppSource just for web based Add-Ins?

It's possible to sell a VBA addin anywhere! Don't see why you can't list it on
your own share/website so you don't have to pay M$ a commission.

Also possible to license it in various ways! (trial, term, full, etc.)

The question to answer is how will you secure your code (intellectual
property)?
