Default Background color in cells

I have Blank spreadsheet with Row 1 starting at B1...AY filled with
numbers 1 to 49.
Rows 2 to 30 Blank with columns 49 ending at row AY30
A separate list of 6 numbers X42 to AC44 contains the following
1 6 16 32 41 45
24 35 36 38 47 48
13 15 18 32 34 35
I world like to have VBA code using the list X42..AC44
to background fill with Color, the Blank rows and columns.

Any direction would be appreciated

I am trying to try again

On the same Blank Sheet
Line A1 has Date Numbers 1..... to...46 ending at AX1
Hopefully, the above wil be filled with only 6 numbers
the rest Blank
This will occur for aleast 10 rows

The source of 6 numbers is further located down the Sheet
namely, at X42 to AC42 -- these are random numbers could be
extended at least 10 rows.

Any help would be appreciated

It appears you are doing lotto stuff. Have a look here...

https://app.box.com/s/23yqum8auvzx17h04u4f

...for the file named *LottoWheelChecker.xls* to see if it offers anything
worthwhile. It is set to generate 'quick-pick' combos, winning number tracking,
and provides a frequency table for analizing winning numbers.

The base is for a 49 number draw of both 6 and 7 numbers plus the bonus. You
can also set favorite numbers for wheeling with various (you choose which)
common wheeling algorithms.

(Note that this has been used for Canada LottoMax and Ontario649, and was
last updated with winning numbers in July 2017.)

Glad you like it! I've been following the 2 lottos mentioned since y2k.

Since I don't have your file it's hard to say how to set your project up for
the shading. I thought you might gain some ideas from how I did it!
