I have experience with perl so I am familiar with regular expressions. But I'm confused about their use in Excel vba.
I see programmers using multiple ways to create objects, multiple and differing references on how to use them. I just need a little good info here. Given Excel 2010.. 1. Is the regular expression feature part of Excel or must you add something. (This workbook will be passed around an office - it's gotta work) 2. Where is the reference for regular expression use IN Excel. 3. And some examples using the above. Just one good one would do. I'll be capturing. Thank you. |
