Is there an incompatibility in Excel 2003 for PT between language(like french vs English) if for example Excel 2003 formulas are written in French Windows OS and then you try do updates with Excel 2003 on an English Windows OS version?

unfortunately that is the case, the formulas are not translated
to perform a translation from French to English, you can use:

Debug.Print ActiveCell.Formula
