Hi,
I want to use the cell entries only from a list. For example, in sheet1 i have list of students in a class. In sheet 2,3 and 4 i want to have their groups. So, entries in this group has always from the list in sheet1. The Conditional formatting allows list to be only from the same sheet. Can it be worked out to get the list elements from other sheet. |

You can use a list from another sheet if you give that list a name.
Select the list and InsertNameDefine...................call it MyList. In DVListSource enter =MyList Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sun, 26 Jun 2011 00:56:13 -0700 (PDT), Subodh wrote: Hi, I want to use the cell entries only from a list.
