fso.FolderExists Gives True but Access is Denied
I am working with the below code. The result of the FolderExists line
is true. However, if I navigate to the folder via the windows explorer I get a message that says access denied. I can't figure out why the result of FolderExists is true. Why is this? I want it to be false. Is there something else that I can use outside of the FileSystemObject object that will give me a value if the folder can be accessed? Sub testingfolderexists() Dim fso As New FileSystemObject Dim fols As Folders MsgBox fso.FolderExists("C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator \") End Sub |
